Community Souping

Introduction

Community Souping is our long-term collaborative art creation process built around an art collective or group of artists.

Every new community joining ArtSoup are entitled to their exclusive collection and Discord channels. This is all set up by ArtSoup and as with every souping process, we do our best to provide the best environment and mindset for artists to create freely and in peace.

In order to participate in Community Souping an artist needs to apply with an art collective or group of artists. The ideal number of artists for a successful Community Souping is 8 to 12 artists.

The Process

1. Artists can start Community Souping in two ways:

   1. Fill out the Artist Application form on ArtSoup.xyz as an individual artist and apply for their community once their applications is approved,

   2. Fill out the Artist Application form as an artist community.

2. Once the application is received, ArtSoup gets in contact with the contact person of the community/collective for further details

3. After mutually confirming the process with the community, an exclusive Category with multiple channels are created under ArtSoup Discord server (chat, submissions, socials, wallets, etc.)

4. All communication and submissions are run through exclusive Discord channels and artists are expected to follow-up with all updates on Discord regarding their community souping process

5. Following the Discord onboarding of all artists involved in the community, final requirements to start of the process is handled:

   1. Avatar submissions,

   2. Artist info submissions for promotion,

   3. Wallet addresses,

   4. Social media links,

   5. Schedule confirmation.

6. Once all above stages are completed, Community Souping starts.

Number of rounds the community will go through to complete the Community Souping is determined by the number of participant artists in the community. Below, you can find the round calculation:

If even: Number of rounds = Number of Artists - 1

If odd: Number of rounds = Number of Artists (one artist sits out for every round)

Total Number of Artworks to be created = (Number of Artists x (Number of Artists - 1))

Minted Collection

All communities have their own exclusive collections under ArtSoup. Once a community enters ArtSoup a new smart contract with the Community name is created and only used for that specific community.

• Artists have the chance to focus solely on their art creation and not worry about all the little details to launch a collection,

• All technical details are executed and double-checked by ArtSoup team to avoid any mistakes.

Benefits for Collectors

• Collectors have the rare opportunity of collecting and investing in a large collection of collaborative artworks from various artists, which by nature adds more value to a collection,

• ArtSoup collectors (Soupsters) are the first to see the created artworks as alpha reveal before public release,

• Soupsters have the exclusive right to reserve soups before going on public sale one day before the listing.

• Be ArtSoup eligible (application approved) to join Community Souping,

Artists must...

• Submit genuine, unique and never-minted-before artworks,

• Create digitally and be able to deliver in JPEG and TIFF formats.
