Can I be an ArtSoup Artist?

Of course! ArtSoup is designed to be an ongoing project with involving more and more artists along the way. If you wish to become an ArtSoup artist, simply fill out the artist application form and we will get in touch with you immediately.

How do collaborations work?

Matching / pairings are always random at ArtSoup no matter which collaboration method you chose to be a part of. In Community Souping, every artist gets matched with all their community members until the whole souping is over, but nobody knows who their pair will be for the round. Whereas, in One-off and Blender Soupings we do random raffles to figure out the pairings.

How many artworks do an artist pair create?

Every artist pair creates 2 artworks in total, one which they started on a blank canvas and the second which they’ve taken from their fellow artist and completed.

What do artists make from ArtSoup sales?

With Community Souping and One-off Souping, each artist involved gets 30% of the sale price from the artwork they’ve contributed. The income distribution is as follows: Artist 1 - 30%, Artist 2 - 30%, ArtSoup - 30%, Marketing - 10%.

Can I join different Souping methods as an artist?

Yes you can! Although we give great importance to having new artists each time we invite in a community, all ArtSoup artists have the opportunity to join into One-off and Blender Soupings whenever they want.

Which blockchain is ArtSoup launching on?

ArtSoup has started its journey and proven itself on Avalanche Network. Now, it’s time to expand to other chains very soon. Stay tuned for updates!

Salvor.io is our exclusive marketplace partner on Avalanche Network. You can also see all our artworks in our Gallery section on this site which has links to all artworks.

Do ArtSoup collectors have any perks or advantages?

Yes! We call our collectors “Soupsters” and they are very dear to us. Soupsters have the first look at every soup we’ll be minting before public and reserve the piece if they wish to do so. Soupsters are encouraged to propose new artists, communities and Blender purchases and also vote on which Blender purchases ArtSoup will be collecting, so it’s safe to say that they are a crucial part of ArtSoup and the journey we are on.
